ORCHESTRE NATIONAL DE FRANCE AND KURT MASUR RELEASE FIRST RECORDING TOGETHER
The Orchestre National de France has announced the release of its first recording under the music directorship of Maestro Kurt Masur. The disc, published on the Naïve/Radio France label (catalogue V4971), features Beethoven Symphonies No. 2 and No. 6. The live recordings were made at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris in 2002, during the presentation of a complete cycle of Beethoven's symphonies.
